We are excited to launch our new digital toolkit Getting Into Law, developed in partnership with prestigious international law firm Stephenson Harwood. The toolkit is a free and fantastic resource, which includes imbedded video content, designed to provide information and guidance about careers in law and pathways into the profession.
Like many other professions, although diversity is increasing, those entering careers in law still do not reflect the rich diversity within the UK. The toolkit has all the information an aspiring legal profession of any age or background might need and will be just as useful to both those interested in finding out more about the legal profession and those who have already decided that this is the path they wish to pursue.
The Toolkit has been developed as part of our Pathways to Professions programme, which is focused on supporting young people aged 13 to 15 with knowledge, skills and opportunities to build their career aspirations. It sits alongside two other resources: Getting Into Architecture, which we have recently launched; and Getting Into Publishing, which will be launched shortly.
As a long-time supporter of the Trust, Stephenson Harwood is a key contributor to the Pathways to Professions programme and we are tremendously grateful to their amazing team for sharing their stories, journeys, insight and practical advice within this toolkit.
